Become a Data Analyst


I have a bunch of free time lately since Covid-19. I don't go anywhere and I am trying not to sit and watch Netflix all day. So I decided I need to learn new skills to work on changing careers. I have taken plenty of career skills tests and combed the internet looking for something that works well with my transferable skills from my previous career in optical management. I decided on learning Data analytics and found this great training pathway on LinkedIn.

I am about 2 hours into this 24-hour training pathway and I am completely immersed in this exciting field. It has videos, slide decks, examples problems, a glossary of commonly used jargon, and quizzes to check your knowledge. And it is completely self-paced, which I truly enjoy. I am hoping this leads to gaining skills to pivot into a new career but if not, I will at least learn new skills that are necessary for today's data-heavy job market.
