Become a Data Analyst I have a bunch of free time lately since Covid-19. I don't go anywhere and I am trying not to sit and watch Netflix all day. So I decided I need to learn new skills to work on changing careers. I have taken plenty of career skills tests and combed the internet looking for something that works well with my transferable skills from my previous career in optical management. I decided on learning Data analytics and found this great training pathway on LinkedIn.  I am about 2 hours into this 24-hour training pathway and I am completely immersed in this exciting field. It has videos, slide decks, examples problems, a glossary of commonly used jargon, and quizzes to check your knowledge. And it is completely self-paced, which I truly enjoy. I am hoping this leads to gaining skills to pivot into a new career but if not, I will at least learn new skills that are necessary for today's data-heavy job market.

Grow with Google is offering training, tools, and resources to help grow your skills, career, or business. They even offer career certificate training pathways such as: IT Support Data Analytics Project Management and UX Design Through their partnership with Coursera, Grow with Google offers a Google Career Certificate in the above training that you can complete at your own pace and on your own time. So it won't disrupt your current job. They also offer access to such great resources as coaching sessions, mock interviews, and a resume-building tool. This will give you a nice advantage when leveraging Google's hiring consortium to get in with some of the top employers in the world.
