Best Promos - The New Breed ~ Wrestling Wednesday

When I was a young teenager, The New Breed came on to the tag team wrestling scene in NWA-Mid Atlantic. Back to the Future had just come out and this team of villains was claiming to be from the year 2002. According to their promos and interviews about 2002, Dusty Rhodes was the president and humanlike robots were part of the normal world.

And the New Breed were sent back in time to save tag team wrestling. It was corny but a young teen like me ate this up. I wanted to see them wrestle and save tag team wrestling. From what, I had no idea, but I was sucked into the story.

Unfortunately, the new breed was involved in a car accident and the tag team was soon no more. But I often wonder about what would have been with the "future" of Sean Royal and Chris Champion, The New Breed!
