It's Gonna Rain All Day- Dan Andriano In The Emergency

We don't get a lot of rain here in southern California, but when we do it usually comes in waves of storms. And it typically rains all day. This makes me miss the weather changes from growing up on the east coast. I never liked the extreme season changes back east but I always loved the springtime rains because it meant we were getting close to my birthday and to summertime. And summer meant cookouts and beach trips as well as the flowers blooming.

I mean we get spring/summer all year in San Diego but nothing really beats an east coast spring.

So while I am thankful I live in California I truly am thankful I had an East Coast upbringing
